Roger Mitchell is a highly respected school leader and inclusion advocate with over 35 years’ experience in education. He has served as Headteacher of Ripple Primary School in Barking and Dagenham since 2005, leading a large, diverse school recognised for its emotionally available, inclusive culture. Roger offers free training and support in SEMH and relational approaches, and has worked extensively with organisations including the Department for Education. He led the development of widely used SEMH resources and now serves as a Trustee for Nurtureuk. A passionate voice for inclusion, Roger champions trauma-responsive practice and the belief that every child belongs.
