Professor Adam Guastella

Professor Adam Guastella is the Michael Crouch Chair in Child and Youth Mental Health at the Children’s Hospital Westmead Clinical School and a leading clinical psychologist and researcher at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney. Internationally recognised for his work in neurodevelopment and child mental health, Professor Guastella is at the forefront of advancing how we understand, assess, and support children with complex needs.

His work brings together neuroscience, clinical research, and real-world application, leading large-scale programs that connect researchers, clinicians, families, and systems. Through pioneering clinical trials and the development of innovative therapies and digital health solutions, he is shaping more responsive, personalised, and accessible models of care.
