Peter Maclean has extensive leadership experience across education, community services and government sectors, having served as Regional Manager Refugee Services – Nauru, School Education Director – NSW Education, and School Principal across three Australian states. A respected education and community leader, he is recognised for his strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and organisational improvement within complex and high-performing environments.

His expertise spans policy development, human resources, industrial relations, risk management and curriculum leadership, alongside developing international education partnerships and study programs with schools and institutions in China. Peter brings a wealth of practical experience in translating ‘policy into practice’ and is deeply committed to increasing opportunities and improving outcomes for children with complex needs.
