Dr Paul Teys is an experienced school leader, coach, and advisor working with principals and leadership teams across independent schools in Australia. With more than 40 years in education—including decades as a principal—he brings practical insight into the realities of school leadership.

His work focuses on building effective leadership in practice: navigating complexity, leading challenging conversations, and developing cohesive teams. Dr Teys delivers leadership programs grounded in real experience, not theory.

He is the author of Now You Are a Principal and So You Want to Be a Principal, and advises school boards on governance and strategy.
