Brendon Hyndman

Dr Brendon Hyndman is an Associate Professor of Education at Charles Sturt University and an internationally recognised scholar in wellbeing, belonging, and inclusion. His research explores how school environments—including playgrounds, routines, and everyday spaces—shape student experiences beyond the classroom. Through global collaborations across more than 25 countries, Dr Hyndman has developed a distinctive body of work at the intersection of education, health, play, and inclusion. He is known for advancing systems-based approaches to inclusive schooling and translating research into practical, whole-school strategies that support diverse learners and improve educational outcomes.
